[aisle] Bluestem Baseball

It is a fun game to play.  Questions are written for each of the 20
Bluestem books. Single, double, triple and homerun.  I borrow the bases
from PE and set them up in the LMC.  I divide the class into two teams.  I
have a scorekeeper on the white board.  Students pick a book they read, ask
for a question, Single is easiest - Home Run is hardest.  If they get it
right, they move bases.  A wrong answer is a strike.  3 strikes for a team
is an out.  The next team is up.  I only use one out since is can be a long
time for teams to wait.  Students that need a little assistance, can ask
one friend for help.  Otherwise, they can't give assistance.  We play for a
few weeks.  It is a huge hit!
