[aisle] Halloween Activity -- Interactive Story

I know a bunch of people were talking about quick Halloween activities to
do in their classes.  This is one that I've been doing with K-5 this week
and they all love it! Hope you can use it!

I wrote my own version of the verbal folktale, The Freedom  Bird, and
changed it to The Halloween Witch Bird.  It's basically the same story with
a lot of embellishment and appropriate changes to the story.

Since there are no visuals to go with this story, I gave the kids a sheet
to draw their vision of the Halloween Witch Bird.  I'm attaching some of
their amazing birds!  They loved the interaction with the story (Nah, nah,
nah, nah, nah, nah) and they loved creating their own bird.
