Any dystopian novel I would consider empowering. You can find lots of dystopian lists that are MS appropriate and very engaging.

Hi all,
Looking for a WIDE range of empowering books for my 7/8 graders. I have great lists for diverse and feminist students but am really lacking ideas for (for lack of a better term) 'run-of-the-mill' boys. I think so often we think they are fine (and many are not) but would love to find books where they see themselves and their struggles as well. Love any and ALL ideas!!!!
