For my 8th graders I steer them to a lot of the old Lincolns.
Between A Rock and a Hard Place
Deadline
Carter Finally Gets It
Swim the Fly
Serpent King (phenomenal)
I Am the Messenger (Huge Hit)
Scar Boys (has its following)

7th Graders:
Cherub series - get to be the hero so popular here
Cirque Du Freak - making a come back, ultimately about friendship
All American Boys - do the right thing
Okay for Now - recently heard from a student he really liked it
