[aisle] Hunger Games online?

We were in the same boat with *The Outsiders*... approx. 500 print copies
in our district and nothing electronic!

I'd recommend contacting the publisher. They seem to be very accommodating
right now, and I was even offered digital access for teachers when I
contacted Penguin. I received a generic response allowing 25% of the text
to be uploaded at a time, and I also received a response to call a rep
directly. He told me it's fine, nobody is coming after us right now, just
follow the 25% rule.

To assist educational institutions temporarily closed due to the COVID-19
emergency, Penguin Random House is happy to provide permission for
temporary use of the material in your recent request subject to the
following guidelines:

1. The material will be used as a resource for remote/online instruction
necessitated by the closure of an educational institution due to the
COVID-19 emergency.

2. Access to the material will be provided only to students, faculty, and
support staff.

3. Up to 25% of the book may be posted at a time. Once one portion is taken
down, the next 25% may be posted. This is to ensure that the entire book
does not appear online at once.

4. Remote use of this material will be discontinued, and any material
posted online will be removed when the educational institution resumes
normal operations.

If you need to obtain an electronic desk copy of the material, contact
highereducation at prh.com. If an electronic desk copy is unavailable. You
may scan the pages of the book to post on your website, subject to the
terms granted herein.

Penguin Random House is pleased to assist educators and students during
this time of national emergency. If you have any questions, please let me
know.

Thank you for your interest in our books.
