I'm usually pretty good at this sort of thing but working from home makes it harder for me to focus.
A freshman English teacher is looking for 12-15 titles that meet the following criteria. My aide and I brainstormed and we have maybe 6... any suggestions?
Can you think of a variety of YAL, memoirs, and plays, that focus on an individual figuring out who they are in the world? The question for this unit is: How does knowing one’s self secure a place in society?
I feel like almost any book can be interpreted as to be about that (for example, you can even argue that Harry Potter is about finding out who one is in the world) so I'm looking for the really strong ones. Thank you, members, for helping. :)
