I don’t know if this helps but the American Museum of Natural History has a site for kids and they have a whole page on genetics. It is geared toward elementary and middle. It may be too low…

Can anyone recommend resources for middle school students to use on a genetics research project (cloning, genetic conditions, genetic engineering, etc.)?  I'm struggling to find information that is current but not written at a such a high scholarly level.
