[aisle] Moving Books for New Carpet

When we did it, Anne, we labeled each bookcase 1, 2, 3 etc. then each row in that bookcase 1a, 1b, 1c, 2a, 2b etc. with tape. 
We then boxed each row of books in its own separate box and labeled it the same as the bookcase shelves(1a, 1b, etc) trying to keep the books in order in the box the best we could. 
We then put each bookcase of boxes together in a pile so when we reshelved we knew all of those boxes belonged to the same bookcase. 
It was a ton of boxes but it did work and also the boxes were more manageable to move. I hope that helps. Good luck. A monumental task.
