[aisle] Moving Books for New Carpet

I had this experience. I got boxes from grocery stores, local newspapers, offices, etc. by email requests. I and some teacher friends picked them up, and some business even brought them to the main school office. I started with the Dewey 000 and labeled each with Dewey range and author section like ABE with magic marker on the outside of the box. I also labeled as Box #1, Box #2, etc. It was so easy to reshelve the books by the number on each box as the books were already in order. I am sure there are other ideas, but this worked for me.
Good Luck!
