Hi all,
Yes, I believe this would be a good book to read. It is a wonderful story, interesting characters, gives you insight into the native American spiritual belief system, and tells the westward expansion story from the native American viewpoint.
Love Tim Tingle in general!

Hello all,
I have a 5th grade teacher wondering if How I Became a Ghost by Tim Tingle would be a good read aloud for her classes to connect it to their Westward Expansion Unit. I haven't read it yet, so Iā€™m not sure. Would this be a good pick or does anyone else have other good novels that would be good read aloud suggestions to tie in to the Westward Expansion unit?

Any suggestions would be great!
Crystal
