[aisle] What to suggest to teachers about their classroom libraries

It appears my district is not stating definitively that children cannot
share books in classroom libraries, yeah I know that is the recommendation.
My principal has asked me to give advice to classroom teachers about how to
manage their classroom libraries with their students. I plan to share the
REALM Project’s recommendations, which I will follow- now planning to
quarantine my books for 4 days before shelving and allowing them to be
checked out again. We will have two groups sharing the same desks on
opposite days of the week in classrooms, so all materials used will be
separated. Any classroom library-specific strategies that you can pass on I
would greatly appreciate it.
It seems to be more difficult to deal with in some aspects then the actual
library books in the library. Obviously, the teachers want their kids to be
able to read classroom books but not to share without some plan for
quarantining them as well. Multiple hands touching while browsing seems to
be a major concern.
