RAILS received a grant of $125,000 through the Illinois Office of the Secretary of State as part of the CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act).
The COVID-19 pandemic has created an urgent need for reading materials that can be accessed remotely by school-aged students. RAILS will use the grant funds to purchase e-books and audiobooks for K-12 users of the eRead Illinois shared collection.
eRead Illinois members are invited to submit suggestions for the collection. Submitting a request does not guarantee inclusion in the eRead Illinois Axis 360 collection. L2 login is required. Learn more: https://ereadillinois.com/k12-suggestion
