[aisle] Major Tech Purchase?

Erica,

Facebook did purchase and take over Oculus. Here's a more detailed article
<https://www.oculus.com/blog/a-single-way-to-log-into-oculus-and-unlock-social-features/?locale=en_US>
about the transition from Oculus to Facebook. While you don't need a
Facebook account right now (unless you're on the Quest 2), you will need a
Facebook account in 2023.

When the Quest 2 came out, you could not have one account on two different
machines. A dev said it would be possible because of Facebook's TOS, but
that was retracted. There is word of an announcement coming about this,
but it hasn't happened yet.

I'm interested to see how this changes in the future.

Ben
