Nope...this is still a copyright violation. Because it is being painted on
a wall in a school, it is "Public Use." I don't have my handy-dandy *School
Library Guide to Copyright *book nearby (because we are enjoying a snow
day!), but here is what Legal Zoom has to say:

If a photo of your mural was on the internet and an artist saw it, he/she
could take legal action. We like to think that this wouldn't happen...but
it does.  My students recently discussed this case:
