Anything by Geoff Herbach and Chris Crutcher

For Adventure:

Below are favorites of our HS students in the genres you are seeking. Because we're a grade 6-12 building, our HS students have access to books targeting a younger audience, and they still love them as well as books their own level.

For sports:
- anything by John Feinstein, Tim Green, Mike Lupica (even though these don't target HS-aged kids per se).
- any sports biography of a popular athlete

For adventure:
LONG-RUNNING FAVORITES:
- Erin Bowman's Taken trilogy (HS level)
- Michael Carroll's Superhuman series (grade 7 & up)
- John Flanagan Ranger's Apprentice (grade 5 & up)
- anything by Alan Gratz
- Neil Shusterman's Scythe series (grade 7 & up - really more sci fi than adventure, but I included it because it's so popular)
- Lex Thomas' Quarantine series (HS level)
- Dan Wells' Partials series (HS level)

Hi, everyone,

We need to increase our books on Sports and Adventure quickly!

What titles (nonfiction AND fiction) do your students enjoy?

Thank you all!
