[aisle] Do you have a cool display above your top bookshelf?

I used to display in the non-fiction section statues, trinkets, stuffed
animals, etc. above the various sections.  The items reflected what books
were below that section.  For instance, a statue of a whale would be above
the whale books.  Cats would be above 636.8.  It was an immediate visual to
where kids could find the books they were looking for.  I bought all the
items at resale shops for cheap!  Not only did the library look fun with
all the visuals, it really empowered students who had dyslexia and
sequencing problems and gave them the tools to find the desired library
books.

I scored big when I found a bust of Beethoven and an old Guitar Hero guitar
and put those above the music section.  Not to mention, it was fun that
summer shopping for all the items.
