[aisle] Title Help!

Good Afternoon!
I have a student looking for a fiction book but can't remember the title.
She says it's about a girl who wants to play basketball, but her mom can't
afford to buy her basketball shoes.  The girl decided to make her own shoes
out of duct tape.  My student seems to remember shoes being on the cover.
Don't we all just love these requests?  LOL!

Does this book sound familiar to anyone?
