When I was working in an elementary school we used the following (at least
the ones I can remember):
Animal Kingdom (then had it divided by Mammals, Reptiles, Sea Life, Birds)
The World Around Us (weather, geography, math, physics, astronomy, plants,
technology, holidays, religion, culture, )
People We Know (biographies and autobiographies)
Who Am I? (feelings, emotions, health)
Let's Have Some Fun (languages, poetry, sports, music, art, jokes)
Long Ago (dinosaurs, history)
