Hi, librarians,
One of my special ed teachers wants read-alouds of short stories for her high school students who read from 1st-6th grade reading levels.
This could include picture books and books of short stories. Quite frankly, it could be anything I could get my hands on physically or digitally.
She is teaching psychology and wants these stories to be "good for students' souls -- positive and motivating, light and uplifting."
I know such stories abound. I'm curious, what are some of your favorites? Bonus points if they represent diverse voices!
Thanks so much! I hoped this would be a *fun* request for many as there isn't all that much fun in my inbox these days!
Hope everyone is well!Kate Rogers
