Hello wonderful CPS partner,


Greetings from the Chicago Public Schools Libraries team! We hope you are
doing well during these challenging times. We are thrilled to announce we
have updated the position requirements for the Library and Digital Media
Specialist, with our Central Office libraries team.


This person will support the work of CPS teacher-librarians, technology
teachers and tech coordinators across the district, support anti-bias and
equity work within the department of libraries, develop and
deliver professional development, and will be responsible for the
libraries’ team social media and web presence and data usage to drive work. The
Library and Digital Media Specialist will leverage his/her experience and
expertise in the areas of libraries, instructional technology, equity in
librarianship, media literacy, and curation in support of the district’s
Curriculum Equity Initiative.
