This is part of a message we received from our tech department about
cleaning Chromebooks...

   - Powering the device off is recommended: Shut down
   - *Chromebooks only*: Open the Chromebook completely so it lays flat on
   a sturdy surface

   -

Lightly spray a device-safe cleaner onto a microfiber cloth:
*Never **directly on the device screen or keyboard*
      - Cleaners sold as ‘LED’ or ‘LCD’ screen cleaners
      - Eyeglass cleaner (Generally anything safe for plastic eyeglass
lenses is safe for screens, including prepackaged wipes.)
      - A 50:50 mixture of water and isopropyl alcohol: Clean tap water can
be used, but filtered or distilled water is best, and 91% or higher
      isopropyl alcohol is recommended.
   - Carefully wipe the screen with moistened microfiber cloth: Distilled
water and 91% alcohol will dry quickly with the least residue, and is an
   effective disinfectant.
   - Wipe the keyboard area and outer shell as desired.
   - *Never **use di**sinfectant wipes or any cleaners with unknown
ingredients*: It can damage the coatings and plastic of the screens.
