If you can post it in a way that only your students have access such as in
an LMS, that mitigates your impact upon the market for the book and keeps
it more in line with the stipulations of fair use. That said, fair use is a
judgement call. There are guidelines, but no hard and fast rules. I like
the Columbia checklist for decision making.
