Oh yes, that is correct. My apologies. I forgot it is the mobile that is the issue. I’ve hit a roadblock for my live stream of morning announcements, so I am quite frazzled by this. I am sorry for my hasty, incorrect response.

You do not need 1,000 subscribers to go live if you are using a desktop or webcam, only if you are on a mobile device<https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2853834?hl=en>. We use it to broadcast speakers that are happening in our school when we can't get everyone in the auditorium.

If you are wanting to do it yourself, you can set up a live stream through YouTube for free. If you have an enterprise account through school, it takes 24-36 hours for them to set up the account.

Just thinking ahead in case it's necessary....I know there are copyright restrictions on recording and posting videos of readalouds but is there a legal way (application, platform, etc) to do a live feed readaloud?
