[aisle] Encouraging Kids to Read

I used Zoom last night to read bedtime stories to any kids who could join me. I even had some older siblings join in! Todd Parr gave permission to read his books and it was just what we needed to build a sense of community. Now Scholastic has given permission to read aloud their collection, with some guidelines.

I found this online just this morning that I will share with my families as well- authors giving live talks and readings.

Hang in there- we’ve got this!

In addition at least some of our families have devices at home that can access the online collections at our public library. I’m also banking on kids reading or rereading books that are currently in their homes.
