Could they do this with a Google Doc?

Subject: [aisle] Teacher question

Good morning everyone! I hope you are all doing well.
I had a teacher question during this time of e learning - any suggestions?
Thanks!
My students are working in groups of 2-3 on a historical fiction research project. One of the purposes is to share the facts of the historical event with others, so all of the students gain information. I want them to have a written conversation in their group, but I want all students to be able to read their conversations and possibly respond with questions.

At one time, I thought Classroom had a blog feature, but I can't seem to find it. Do you have a suggestion of a program or something that is easy to use and meet the goal? I would really like it to be able to "fit" into the G Class.
