[aisle] Online Chess Game

Good morning,

This year, in our library, we started a grade level chess club for each of our lunches. Well, for some reason, we are not able to come together, so I am looking for a free online chess game that would allow students to play head to head.

I am looking for one that can be limited to only our students, has a chat feature (this is a social club), and can be monitored by and adult (aka me) to make sure students are practicing good cyber-citizenship. On top of that, free. Google's Chess may not be an option, because it won't load onto my laptop.

Has anyone found such a product?

Sincerely,

Alan, Librarian serving Brooks Middle School
