[aisle] Book Return/Collection

We're locked out of our building also, and I doubt we'll return to
school until fall. Sadly, I'm afraid there will be quite a number of books
I'll have to repurchase.
However we intend to inform students' parents before they return to
school what books need to be returned. I'm also going to ask permission to
include the cost of the book(s)' replacement with the students'
registration fees for fall, assuming we don't return this spring. If kids
return their books at the start of the school year, those fees would be
waved.
I'm confident but not positive that this idea will be allowed, but even
so - I assume a lot of good materials won't return.
The books that DO return will be cleaned, but by fall any virus should be
dead. We'll see & reconsider that situation in August.
In the big picture, our library's losses are pretty small compared to
the much greater suffering that so many are experiencing.
:) Kathy
