Please help in sharing information about this scholarship opportunity for Illinois educators to engage in professional learning on OER in the K-12 Classroom with any listservs or educators that you can think of. The Illinois State Board of Education is seeking scholarship applicants to complete and provide feedback on a new microcredential: Open Educational Resources in the K-12 Classroom.

This 8-week course is an introduction to Open Educational Resources (OER) for K12 environments. Participants will explore, evaluate, and select OER for use in their classrooms. Participants will discuss topics related to OER benefits, challenges, trends, and issues. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will earn 30 Professional Development hours and a badge that will be included on their Illinois Professional Educator License.
