[aisle] [Mamelist] Textbook Distribution Procedure - Resource Manager

Well, I have never done this but I do manage a great deal of materials for
my district.

In reading this my initial reaction to this is that it is very possible to
make this happen.....but it feels like it will require a great deal
pre-preparation. If you had tables set up around the gym or cafeteria that
you could lay everything out in alpha order it would be a breeze to hand
out. In person students could come down and get their books a few students
at a time and with a couple strong adults with carts you could, at the same
time, service the other students curbside.

If you had class enrollments, Science, SS, Math, etc. you could pull the
books from the closets and match them with the alphabetized schedules on
the tables. Then go around to each pile of books and check them out to the
students that way you only need to hand them their stack on "distribution
day."

So, there you go....my two cents worth. Maybe it will be helpful and maybe
not..... I would love to come and help you. I love things like this.

I wish you well in this endeavor.
