[aisle] Fantasy books set outside of the US

*The Apothecary by Maile Meloy *takes place in London in 1952.  One of the
main characters is an American girl whose parents are expatriate
playwrights who were targeted by Joe McCarthy.  Those details are not a
main plot issue, but the author uses it as the reason for the presence of
an American girl in a British school.  It makes for an interesting
discussion point.
