[aisle] IL Book Award Question

Good Morning! I've been a teacher-librarian in Iowa for the last 10 years
and we also have state award books that we promote and students vote on
around spring break time but we don't have to pay a fee in order for our
schools to participate. Just curious as to what the $10 fee covers for your
school to participate? I can't find any information on that specifically.
