**Apologies if this has already been posted here. I didn’t see my email on
the listserv.
Hello!
I am being asked to advi;se teachers on taking precautions with their
classroom libraries. We have been 100% remote but plan to return later in
October for half days with different students in the am and pm.
- If students take a book from the classroom library to read, how long
should it sit in quarantine before going back in the classroom library?
- Should students be able to flip through classroom books before
choosing one?
- Could they be allowed to if they used hand sanitizer immediately
before?
What else am I not thinking of?
Sadly, the special area classes will be still instructing students
remotely, so I'll also be trying to wrap my head around a plan for getting
books to the kids that I don't get to see in person. I've got some great
ideas from the listserv so far. Take care, everyone!
