Saturday, Nov. 7, 9-10 am at the 2020 Virtual AISLE Conference join  Kelly
Jahng, Library Information Specialist, South Park Elementary School,
Deerfield as she discusses the DDC in elementary schools.

While the DDC continues to function well in school and public libraries for
the most part, some of its nuances can cause confusion for younger
students. Many elementary librarians are seeking ways to give their
students greater independence while searching for nonfiction materials.
This session will explore ways to simplify the Dewey system in school,
without reinventing the wheel.
