[aisle] Cricut

Hi! We have one available in our library/makerspace. We created a generic
account for teachers to use as a log in to start, but since this is now our
third year with it, most teachers have created their own accounts. I don't
know if it would replace a die cut though. Cheaper construction paper has
a hard time peeling off even the least sticky mat. It works better if you
have the TruRay higher quality paper or scrapbook paper, but not so much
the cheaper paper. We bar coded our Cricut for teachers to take home on
the weekends too. They need to supply their own sticky mats, but anyone
can take the machine home. I figured if we want our kids to have a maker
mindset, why not have the teachers "making" on the weekends too?
Creativity encouraged! I encourage both professional and personal use
(thus the teacher's own accounts) for the machine. it's been widely
successful and well used and hasn't broken. Yet! :)

FYI -it does NOT work with a Chromebook.

Hope this helps!
Becky
