[aisle] Virtual Battle of the Books

Hi Laurie!
Just circling back to see if you would be interested in doing some virtual Battle of the Books competitions. Our 3rd-5th graders will be using 8 of the Caudill books for the Battle. We are reading the books now, will probably have some practice rounds in January and February and would like to do a final competition in March. Let me know if you are interested!

I definitely would. I plan on doing Battle with the 4th and 5th graders. Unfortunately, the actual battle never happened last year because we planned on April. I would love to brainstorm ideas!

Hi all!

I hope your school years are off to a good start or you are feeling ready for a new year to start.
I am wondering if anyone is planning on organizing a virtual Battle of the Books competition this year? I have never done a regular Battle of the Books competition but I am assuming it would not be difficult to hold competitions via Zoom or other video chat platform. I am planning on running one for our 3rd-5th grade students and our 6th-8th grade students using the short 10 book list.
Please reach out to me if you would be interested in brainstorming a virtual Battle of the Books and possibly competing sometime in March!
