Title:  *Connecting Primary Sources with Literature in Remote Learning*

Date:  Tuesday, October 6, 2020  -  7:00 – 8:00 p.m

Presenter:  Mary Marks                                  *1 PDH*

Are you interested in engaging strategies and tools rooted in effective
teaching practices and research to help students think more deeply, make
connections, and learn to ask more questions? This workshop is for you!
Come join us as we engage in inquiry activities with primary sources paired
with literature. Primary sources integrate important visual literacy skills
and enhance lessons, storytimes, book groups, and displays for learners of
all ages and abilities. Resources for both fiction and nonfiction titles,
including ready-to-teach lessons will be examined.

Registration Fee:  Members:  $10.00 -   Non-Members:  $15.00

Title:  *Robust Information Integration with World Book, Inc*

Date:  Tuesday, October 13, 2020 – 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Presenter:  Amy Stefanski                  *1 PDH*

Need a new interactive ecosystem for your students to play, explore, and
learn in? Do you need a tool to help students learn foundational skills and
information? Then let's explore the new and robust digital suite from World
Book, Inc for students K-8. Dunlap School District #323 sought out over
~50,000 new and unique content items during the COVID-19 shutdown. Come see
how their Librarian, teachers and students use this tool during traditional
and non-traditional education.
