Hello,

The University Library at the University of Illinois has a great Libguide
for Italian <https://guides.library.illinois.edu/c.php?g=694864&p=7917027>.
Some of the resources are databases they subscribe to, but many of the
other resources are free. Additionally, Corriere della Sera
<https://www.corriere.it/> and la Reppublica <https://www.repubblica.it/>
are two top newspapers that provide at least a few free articles without
subscriptions.
