[aisle] Announcing winners

[School Recognition AISLE]

We are excited to announce that there are two school library programs this
year that have earned the AISLE Exemplary School Library Award.  Please
join us in congratulating Belleville East High School Library and
Belleville West High School Library located in Belleville, Illinois. The
award was established in 2018 to recognize school libraries throughout the
state of Illinois that exemplify the standards set forth in Linking for
Learning.  The award is presented to a school library in public, private,
or charter schools and is not intended to recognize districts or individual
librarians.

Laura Byrne, Library Director, and principal Dr. Josh Lane submitted the
application on behalf of Belleville East High School Library.  Tiffany
Droege, Library Director, and assistant principal Todd Hayes submitted the
application on behalf of Belleville West High School Library.  They all
provided evidence that demonstrates an exemplary program and reflects the
library standards supported by AISLE and the Illinois State Board of
Education.  The award will be presented to the Belleville East and West
High School Libraries at an upcoming school board meeting and they will be
recognized at the annual AISLE Conference on November 8, 2021.
