[aisle] Best place to find School Library openings?

Hi!

What I found when looking was to check the Regional Office websites. For
example for DuPage county use this one:
https://www.dupageroe.org/services/job-opportunities
and check it every day. Look under DuPage County Schools and then Broken
Down by Category and find High School Positions. Some high schools will
list it under Librarian or Library Media Specialist. They might also list
it under Other, so I'd check all those places.

I found the Regional Offices of Education had the best sites. However, you
can always just stalk districts you know you'd like to work in. Check their
websites each day.

If you are just starting out, payscale might not be a big deal to you, but
if you have years of service, I would for sure recommend looking at their
salary schedule. I know that many times I knew I would be taking too big of
a pay cut to make it worth it for some of the jobs, so I didn't apply.

Good luck and I hope you find a perfect match!
