[aisle] Holiday reading idea

Trying to work the kinks out of a winter break project and hoping the hive mind can help me.
I want to do something where I wrap books, give a brief description of the book on the outside and sell it as, "Give yourself the gift of reading over break."

These would be circulating books, and the point would be that they were unwrapped at home and read over break. I am struggling with the logistics though. Our last day of school is Wed the 22nd. Do I do it on that day? I have 4 classes that day (1st-3rd). Are those the only classes that participate? Do I announce to the whole school and open it up for kids to come down during free time?

Here are my worries:
Not having enough books if we open to whole school.
Kids checking out, unwrapping and then putting right back in the return bin.
The library being mobbed by students.
I know the little ones are all going to want one, but we are a K-5 school of 375ish and the thought of wrapping potentially 200 books is overwhelming.

Any ideas??
