SCARCE in Addison. If they can’t use it/resell it (most YA items sold to teachers/schools) they will be sure all materials are properly recycled and not enter landfills.

Here’s their donation policy:

Good morning.

Does anyone have a place that accepts donations of YA/Adult books from a high school collection? One of my administrators is asking about my process for getting rid of our discarded books. I explained that if books are in good shape, I will offer them to our staff and students, but then anything that is not taken or is outdated or not in good shape gets recycled. They asked about places to donate. I know Bernie's Book Bank focuses on children's literature, not so much teen or YA.

Thanks for any ideas!
