Happy holidays one and all!

If you happen to be a work-a-holic, here's what I need help with:

  1. I teach K2 Dual Language (Spanish) tech and library (We've been using a coding program (Tynker)) It is not a good fit for my kids for multiple reasons.

  1. Principal got okay with District office to "do our own thing."
  2. We now have no Tech curriculum BUT, I can incorporate what I'm doing in library
  3. Via teacher survey, teachers want help with capitalization, complete sentences, punctuation, spacing between letters and words, ect.
  4. Classrooms use Seesaw (I would need to learn it)
  5. ****here's where help comes in****
     * I'm looking for a guideline type thing with the idea of "writing" about books.
        * start with a sentence (properly formatted, punctuated, beginning, middle, end)
        * Work towards writing a paragraph (a few sentences) about a book
        * typing and/or writing manually is okay
        * Could incorporate parts of a computer
        *   We are 1-1 Chomebook.

Spelling is bad, in both languages, reading is a struggle, and they need to learn to respond to questions in full sentences, (restate the question kind of thing). Even 2nd grade does not know how to do this.

Any suggestions, plans, idea, etc. are appreciated greatly. You can also email me off list to continue a dialog if need be.

Maybe a sentence construction program exists where students can hear/read a story and write a sentence by clicking/dragging words from certain groups based on proper sentence structure? If anyone can actually program something like this, I have ideas....

I'm looking forward to your thoughts and again, thank you!
