[aisle] code.org through distance learning or an alternative

Hi Chuck
Yes I taught a coding class and used code.org and it was fine remote. You can assign them particular learning sessions to do and you can track their progress online if you hook up to google classroom. They could just work on it a little bit each time. There are many different lessons in there on other things too like app design and webpage design. There’s a great Facebook page for technology teachers too where teachers give lots of ideas about it as well.

I see there are some adaptations they list, but so far nothing is jumping out at me as feasible yet. Is there a better alternative for these circumstances or should I just put the idea aside until in person instruction is fully happening again? (hybrid still) By the way, did I mention coding is still something i'm striving to understand better? Thanks for all input!
