[aisle] 3D printer for Makerspace?

I have a Dremel 3D40. The next one will be a 3D45 for the added convenience of the flex bed. Venting has never been a problem and there are no fumes from it. We have a dedicated laptop with printer software. The students export projects to usb device and then run projects through program slicer. I work with 3rd-5th graders and all of them learn the steps and what to do. The filament lasts longer than I thought it would. We don’t print every design we create.
Good luck!

Keep in mind that most 3D printers will need to vent and will need to be near a window or an outside wall. Honestly we still have ours in the box, so I can't tell you if they are any good or not.

So, I create a class on Tynkercad and pull their designs from there, upload them to the Dremel software on my device and send it to the printer myself. Annoying extra steps, but it does allow control over them printing nonsense or poorly designed objects (which end up "failing").
