[aisle] Using Cricut in a School

I haven't tested it out yet, but someone in a Facebook group said they use
Canva to design their png files that they then cut out on the Cricut. In
the free teacher version, you can also download files from Canva as an SVG
file.nMy mind was blown because I use Canva all the time, but hadn't made
the connection that I could use those files with the Cricut for some
reason. Plus Canva is SO MUCH EASIER than designing from scratch in the
Cricut Design Space software. I googled to see that there are how-to videos
out there, but haven't had time to watch them or get our machine out and
make something yet.

Our Cricut Maker has only been used by a handful of teachers so far. I was
still learning how to use it (it was a big upgrade from my Cricut that only
took cartridges) so I could start using it for programming with students
when the pandemic hit. Teachers typically bring their own materials to use,
but I'm happy to lend them a piece or two of cardstock to get started on
something or when I'm teaching them what to do. I will probably supply
materials if I use the Cricut for programming with students, but they will
have to provide materials for their own designs (though I do have a stash
of scrapbook paper that I bought for myself a long time ago and never used
that students can utilize, too).
