Hello,

My daughter is dyslexic and Learning Ally is VITAL to her viewing herself
as a reader. She can seamlessly go from her phone to her chromebook
listening to a book, there are never waits for books (multiple copies), her
teacher can assign her books and see her progress. It is amazing. These
are human voice recordings. There is a cost - but worth it! If your
students with 504s and/or IEPs don't have Learning Ally - I would highly
recommend looking into it. It is for students with disabilities, not
something for all students. There are individual memberships for families
that demonstrate they have a learning disability as well.

BookShare is a non profit that a family can sign up for that also has many
books with recorded audio. A doctor must sign off on the paperwork to show
that you are in need of Book Share. Many of these are robot read. It is a
great attempt to leverage the importance of audio books and the price
(free) can't be beat.

Thanks and Happy New Year!
