Hello Collective Mind!
My school is looking for possible titles for a whole school book for grades 6-8. My admin would like a fiction book that has:
- good moral lesson, but not preachy... or a good moral dilemma
- character(s) overcoming some sort of adversity in a positive way
- perseverance, stick-to-it-iveness
- theme or subject matter that encourages discussion
- feel-good ending
- keeps the 8th graders interested, yet appropriate for 6th grade
- not so popular that they would have all read it (like The One and Only Ivan, etc.)
- genre doesn't really matter... well, maybe not horror.
- able to be read aloud easily because we are hybrid learning

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you for sharing your brainwaves!

The single clenched fist lifted and ready, or the open asking hand held out and waiting. Choose: for we meet by one or the other.
