Good morning!
The Project LIT Community and #disrupttexts<https://disrupttexts.org/> are excellent sources to meet this need.

Subject: [aisle] Alternatives to the Same Old Books

Hello - I am looking for sources to help me find alternatives to the same old books that teachers are used to relying on - with the twist of presenting teachers with alternatives that could be used in the classroom that might show a more diverse mix of characters or real life people. I want to expand teachers' thinking about some of the more "tried and true" stories and get them to introduce more "mirrors, windows, and sliding glass doors" into their read alouds - without making it a slog for them....

any and all ideas welcome (and yup, I've already bookmarked Diverse Book Finder)
