[aisle] Library Schedule - Elementary School

We are a much smaller school; however, I teach a 30 minute lesson and then
the teacher brings his/her class down for 15 minutes another time during
the week (scheduled with my Assistant) for book checkout. This gives me the
opportunity to do a full lesson plus they get another 15 minutes to look
for a book another time. If I'm not teaching during that time, I go and
help. The teacher stays since she has already had her 30 minute prep with
me.
Kindergarten - we have 4-5 kids from both classrooms scheduled for a
15-minute time to come down as a small group for an informal library lesson
and book checkout time. Gives us an opportunity to work more closely with
the small group rather than having a full class come down. We work the time
out with the classroom teacher. We pick up the same kids on the same day
every week for this lesson. We've done that for 3 years now and we all
love it.
