[aisle] Dr. Seuss Controversy

I have five of the six books at two of my libraries. I spoke with administration yesterday morning. The books all stay. There is One small change at this time with these stories. The cost of these titles skyrocketed in the last few days. They have been temporarily removed to prevent theft. Any staff member may request titles from through Destiny.

Since our handbook reads “books that are lost or damaged need to be replaced with an exact copy (binding, copyright) or replacement cost, I don’t feel that students should shoulder the cost of a 800 dollar book. They are welcome to look at them in the building or libraries.
